Comment on The Language of Frankenstein by Michael Carroll

I thought her use of language was way over the top and as mark Pagel suggested it is somehow still very infectious. I don’t like the way Shelly writes, as it is overly flowery in its emotional tones but I found myself starting to think in her weird flowery way of writing. What shelly ended up accomplishing was making me despise the character of Frankenstein through his way of speaking but somehow indoctrinating me to think in similar terms simply through reading. It’s darn close to brain washing and I think her changes based off of her choices of “style” did not indeed change her style at all but rather her substance.
