critical gaming… we are not alone.

After doing some searching I found that the University of Washington has a site similar to our sample reality blog (they have portal as one of their decorations) : https://depts.washington.edu/critgame/wordpress/2011/01/boy-scouts-introduces-video-game-merit-badge/
Also, in light of speaking about video games and the media I found this article/post on the myths of video games in relation to violence, your kids, and the media from PBS Kids (what appears to be legit): http://www.pbs.org/kcts/videogamerevolution/impact/myths.html
It’s short enough and it hits most of the points of discussion in our class thus far: marketing- kids vs. adults, do video games encourage/cause violence, girls play too, games isolate us from society, games desensitize, games as a means of expression.
